We were the first to license Dispensary Tree’s powerful software that makes building custom formulas a breeze. You can order premade formulas, foot soaks, Little Fishes, and Six Fishes formulas. Our HIPAA-compliant system not only makes it easy to reorder formulas and save them as a favorite to your growing formula library but also allows patients to reorder their formulas. I am a licensed practitioner. How do I place an order?
Registration only takes 5 minutes: Head to the practitioner portal on the website. We’ll need your license number and professional website to confirm that you’re a licensed health professional. Once we verify your credentials, you’ll be sent a username and password. You can securely order custom formulas and products 24 hours a day.
When will my order be shipped?
Orders received by noon Eastern Standard Time are usually shipped within the same day.
Orders within 100 miles of Philadelphia typically reach their destination the next day.
I live near Philly. Can I pick up my herb formula?
By all means! We have a contactless pick-up system in the foyer.
How will my order be shipped?
Choose from UPS or USPS. We can expedite delivery using 3-day, 2-day, or next-business-day delivery. Note that UPS cannot deliver to addresses with PO boxes.
Does China Herb Company ship outside of the U.S.?
The answer is maybe. We can sometimes accommodate requests for international delivery. Please email us at [email protected] or call 215-546-5870 with any international shipping and billing inquiries before placing an order.
How much do you charge for shipping and handling?
Most ground shipments cost between $9.95 and $11.95. Shipping charges vary depending on the shipment’s weight, the location it is being shipped to (rural areas may include extra charges), and the shipping method selected.
What if my product is out of stock?
We do our best to keep all our products in stock, but it is not always possible. If the formula you want is out of stock, there are three options: you can wait until we have the product in stock again or order the same formula in another form. If we don’t have it in liquid, we can make it in granule or raw forms for you. You can order a similar product; we can custom-build the formula from our stock. We’ll never charge a back-ordered product until it is shipped.
Can my orders be shipped directly to my patients?
Take advantage of our drop shipping service. China Herb Company can ship your formulas directly to your patient at no extra charge.
Can I reorder from China Herb Company for my patients?
Since you’ve entered your patients into our database, reordering is quick and easy. You can reorder the same formula, modify it, or create a brand-new recommendation. The system will force you to name the formula, making it easy to keep track of it later. You can even set your preferences to reorder their formulas and send them a link to pay us directly.
Can I order large quantities of herbs?
Yes: Our liquid dispensary is available in 2, 4, 8, 16, and 32 oz bottles. For gallon orders, please call us at 215-546-5870
Can you provide custom-branded labels?
Yes. Provide us with the graphics, ensuring they comply with our labeling standards. We’ll provide a non-compete, non-disclosure contract if you’ve written a proprietary formula.
Can my patient order directly from China Herb Company?
In general, no. You’re in charge of managing your patients’ health concerns, so if you haven’t set them up for automatic refills, you’ll need to place the order for them.
Which payment methods are accepted by China Herb Company?
All online orders are prepaid with credit cards. We accept all major credit cards. Orders picked up from the dispensary can be paid with a credit card, personal check, or cash.

No problem! We’re here to help you do your very best. Cara has been in practice for over 40 years and is an experienced educator. If you need assistance writing your formulas, she can offer guidance and answer any questions. Please note that Cara is busy and may be unavailable on short notice. HERB FAQ's
Where does China Herb Company source their herbs?
China Herb Company makes every effort to ensure the safety of our herbs. We select companies that test for bacteria, heavy metals, pesticides, molds, and fungi. Whenever possible, we avoid the use of herbs treated with sulfites. We purchase our herbs from companies that use the correct species and do not use common substitutes. We do not stock any herb or medicinal listed on the CITES endangered species list.
We source most of our herbs from three reputable companies: Spring Wind Herbs, NuHerb, and Asia Natural.
How else do you ensure safety?
Our software allows us to track and record which herbs’ shipments have been used in production on specific dates.
We are proud that in over 30 years, we have never had even one reported adverse reaction or batch contamination.
How much alcohol does your liquid herb concentrates contain?
Our liquid herb concentrates and herbs contain about 20 % alcohol to prevent spoilage. Liquid herbs have a minimum shelf life of 2 years from manufacture.
Are discounts available when ordering from China Herb Company?
We offer discounts for online orders only. New to China Herb Company? Enjoy a 20% first-time discount using the code ILOVEHERBS. Because we are in Pennsylvania, we love supporting our local Acupuncture organization, the Association for Professional Acupuncturists of PA.

Does China Herb Company offer discounts on custom formulas?
An advantage of ordering from China Herb Company is that we can produce custom formulas for you and your patients. Because this process is time-consuming and labor-intensive, we can’t usually offer discounts on custom formulas. But keep an eye out for sales. Periodically, we’ll run a sales promo on all products, including custom formulas, so watch your email!

What is your return policy?
Unopened bottles of herbs may be returned within 30 days, subject to a 15% re-stocking fee.
Custom herb formulas are not returnable.
